Prepping for Halloween

I've been getting my own costume together for Halloween (which rocks btw), so of course I have to help Niko out with his too! To test out a costume idea, I made it out of paper first:

And then to put it on the hedgehog. The spiky hedgehog. The spiky balled up hedgehog. Yeah, that took a bit of engineering to figure out how to actually get the costume on him, and will need some tweaks to make it stay on... but OMG SO CUTE!

Spiky Birthday

I recently had my birthday, and Niko's birthday is coming up. So obviously, this was the year of the "spiky birthday" complete with hedgehog shaped cupcakes:

Also: my coworker's daughter made this awesome party hat for Niko. Awesome.
